We’re a church, community centre and events space

This means the value of your money goes beyond simply hiring a space. During the week, our charity partners use King’s House spaces free of charge. Your bookings help make that possible.

We’re dry hire

Dry-hire means we don’t provide catering, and your team needs to set up and pack down the space(s). But that doesn’t mean you’re on your own. We’re here to help - before, during and after your event. And we also provide teas and coffees, tables and chairs, and a list of caterers we know and trust.

We quote by the hour

This includes room hire (discounted for registered charities), audiovisual support and staffing. Every quote starts from the time you intend to arrive, to the time you leave, so please factor in enough time for set up and pack down. Here’s our price list for a full run down.

You’ll need to fill out our Hire Handbook

When you tell us you’d like to book, we’ll send you your Hire Handbook. Complete Stage 1, with the deposit paid and terms signed, and your booking is secured. Complete Stage 2, and we’re ready to roll. It’s got some other very useful bits and bobs for your event, too.

We’re a nut-free venue

When you’re organising your own catering, or hiring external caterers, please make sure you inform them of this. Thank you!
