Does King’s House have audiovisual equipment we can use like microphones, amps and screens?

Yes. King’s House is fully equipped for everything from board meetings and studio recording, to conferences and live performances. We can also host live streaming and hybrid events. For full details, drop us an email at hire@kingshouse.org.uk.

Who will be the main contact on the day?

Every event has an Event Lead and an Event Assistant to facilitate your booking. They’ll be there to welcome you when you arrive.

When can we arrive at King’s House to start setting up for our event?

At the start time on your booking form.

Is there a discount for charities?

Yes. For registered charities, there is a discount on room hire of 33%.

Do you do birthday / Christmas parties at King’s House?

No, we don’t.

Do you have breakout spaces at King’s House?

Yes (depending on availability). Our Upper Room (capacity 200) is the main room. With the Luciana, Fleet and Saint Rooms providing capacity for 30-40. All breakout rooms include TVs, sound and microphone facilities.

Is King’s House accessible?

Yes. King’s House was designed specifically for accessibility, including a lift connecting the two floors. If you have visited and feel we still have areas to improve on, please reach out to us at hire@kingshouse.org.uk.

Do you provide catering at King’s House? What food and drinks can you provide? Do you have a kitchen?

No. We are dry-hire, but welcome requests for external caterers. This can be organised after booking. We also offer unlimited teas and coffees for £3.50 per person. We also have a small kitchenette for food prep, heating food and washing up. However, we can’t allow cooking on site.

Do you have fridge or freezer space at King’s House?

Unfortunately, no. We have a very small amount of fridge space, but please do not rely on it!

Can I store items at King’s House overnight?

Unfortunately, no. King’s House hosts a range of charities and events throughout the week, so space is too limited.

Can I deliver items to King’s House the day before the event?

Yes. Just make sure you confirm it with us beforehand, otherwise we might not be around to receive it!

Is there somewhere we can unload on the day of the event?

Yes. Opposite 2 Northdown Street (N1 9BG), there is a loading bay with a 20 minute allowance.
