We are located at 242 Pentonville Rd, London, N1 9JY.

King's Cross and St Pancras stations are less than 200m away from our front door, which makes us ideally sitated for National Rail, Eurostar and London Undergound services connecting us to London, UK and the rest of Europe.

By Bus: Nearby stops include Kings Cross Road / Pentonville Road (Stop L) served by the 17, 45, 46, 63, 259, N63. King's Cross Pentonville Road (Stop H) served by 10, 17, 59, 91, 259, 390, N91.

By Underground: Nearby underground stations include King’s Cross St Pancras and Angel.

By rail: Nearby stations include King’s Cross St Pancras International

By bicycle: There are many nearby hiring spots, four of which on Pentonville road.

Bike parking is available further up Pentonville Road in front of Malvern House, a short walk from King’s House.

A loading bay is available for 20 mins on Northdown st.

Paid public parking is available on Northdown st, Mon-Fri.

Congestion charge - We are outside the Congestion Charge zone.

+ Hire Timings

King's House can be hired Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

Hire availability runs from 08:00 through to 22:00 on these days.

These timings include any set-up / pack-down.

+ What AV is available?

King's House is fully kitted out to host in person, live stream and hybrid events!

+ Do you offer live streaming?

King's House is able to live stream events and cater for hybrid events. We are fully set up to live stream events in HD, with full lighting, sound, camera and AV switching installation.

You will need to hire one of our Production engineers.

+ Is the building accessible?

Yes!

We welcome anyone with accessibility requirements and will endeavour to accommodate any needs you may have. The building can be acessed from street-level.

We also have a lift for access up to the auditorium space, and accessibile WCs on each level.

Please get in touch prior to your visit so we can make sure the necessary arrangements are made.

+ Can I sell Alcohol?

Please let us know if you intend to sell alcohol or include the cost of alcohol in your ticket price.

King's House doesn't currently have a premise license. Please inform us if a Temporary Events notice is required.

+ Can I bring food?

We can't currently cater for all events, but we have a preferred suppliers list with social enterprises that share our values which we can provide upon request.

+ Cleaning and waste collection

The venue is regularly and thoroughly cleaned prior to your event. Please return the venue in the same condition after your event.

Cleaning can be added to your event booking. King's House uses cleaners paid the Living Wage.

All rubbish and waste must be contained within the bins provided.

+ Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in King's House. This includes the use of electronic cigarettes or other similar devices inside the venue.

We do not have any spaces designtated for smoking on the premises.

+ Deposits

The deposit fee is

• 100% payable immediately when the booking is made within a monthof your event start date;
• 20% if more than 1 month before your event.
• An additional refundable security deposit of £350 may also be charged to cover damage & clean up after your event.

The full balance of the Hire Fee must be paid at least one month prior to the start of the Event, and if it is not, we may cancel the hiring and retain any sum already paid.

We don't want you to miss the opportunity to use our space if you’re in a position where you can't afford the full amount of our Hire Fee when it falls due. If you're in this position we'd love to chat to you further, please do get in touch with us if this is the case.

+ Cancellations

We know plans can change when planning your event, and will do our best to accommodate changes.

In the instance that you need to cancel, please write to us to let us know. We will use reasonable endeavors to re-hire the space, but we reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee. This applies because we may have to turn away other bookings, or we may not have enough time to find a replacement. Our general guidelines are:
